Israel Center of Conservative Judaism: Youth and Family Engagement Coordinator
Overview
The Israel Center of Conservative Judaism (ICCJ) is a warm and inviting egalitarian synagogue which affords its congregants a wide array of spiritual, educational, social, and inter-communal activities that enhance their commitment and enjoyment of their faith, and enables them to grow as essential members of the human family.
The intergenerational membership of ICCJ ranges in age from six months old to ninety-six years young. We offer programs for families with children aged newborn to 15 and Young Adults age 16+ . We offer such programs as Tot Shabbat, which engages children under the age of five and their parents during Shabbat in discussion, storytime and an overall knowledge of Shabbat as well as events such as Queens Farm, Movie Time, etc. For our “teens/adults” aged 16+ we offer events which allow our youth to engage and bond with our rabbi and others in their age group. We also offer our youngsters membership in BBYO (Bnai Brith Youth Organization) sponsored by ICCJ.
We, at ICCJ, consider ourselves a Temple Family and open our arms and our hearts to all those who wish to worship with us and become part of our family.
