service engagement internship (SEI)
Interested in wellness/mental health, volunteer work, and giving back to Jewish community?
The Service Engagement Internship (SEI) is sponsored by Hillel International and Repair the World and will begin in September 2023. It aims to empower students on campus to not only get involved in service work on campus, but also to engage 25 of their peers! Service Engagement Interns are required to volunteer at least 10 times and will get to work closely with our Director of Wellness and staff-facing team to help facilitate monthly deliveries for QC Hillel's kosher grocery program, a free monthly food program for all QC students. SEI interns will also do outreach on the campus community to get word out about the program and work with their peers to develop pop-ups and programs that promote the grocery program and wellness. This includes programs aimed to de-stigmatize wellness, mental health, and more!
SEI interns are also connected to a host of larger learning sessions and resources through Hillel International through webinars that promote professional development. At the end of their internship, SEI interns will receive a $500 stipend. Check out the FAQS here for more info about the program!
