Our program fosters meaningful conversations and offers opportunities for families to explore and celebrate Jewish life together. We reach over 650,000 children every month all around the world.

Job Description:

PJ Library is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our street festival outreach team. As an Outreach Ambassador, you will play a vital role in spreading the word about PJ Library and assisting families in signing up to receive free books. This position requires a passion for community engagement and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent PJ Library: Engage street festival attendees in conversations about PJ Library’s offerings, highlighting our free program to receive curated books and activities every month.Assist with sign-ups: Guide families through the online sign-up process for PJ Library.Set up the display table: Ensure that promotional materials are organized and available for distribution.Provide Information: Answer questions about PJ Library and upcoming community events.

Requirements:

Experience in community engagement or relationship management preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Must be able to commit to at least four or more weekend events from June through August.

Schedule:

Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday shifts primarily required, however, Sunday-only schedules can be arranged for those who observe Shabbat.
