KEWS GARDENS HILLS, QUEENS — Queens College has earned national recognition for its success in promoting social mobility, propelling students from low-income backgrounds into well-paying jobs after graduation.
The college was ranked eighth nationwide on CollegeNET's 2020 Social Mobility Index.
The ranking measures a college or university's effectiveness in educating economically disadvantaged students and graduating them into well-paying jobs, according to a news release.
