Building for the Future

The Queens College Jewish Legacy Society, now part of Hillel International’s 1923 Society, recognizing those who have made Queens Hillel part of their Jewish Legacy by including us in their wills or estate plans. Legacy Giving is a great way to invest in the future of Jewish community on campus.

Such gifts help support programs, expand our presence on campus, and fund our endowment that will help keep our Hillel financially sustainable for generations to come. The Society was created in 2014 when Queens Hillel began the Grinspoon Foundation's Life & Legacy program. As part of the Hillel movement’s centennial celebration, the Queens Hillel Jewish Legacy Society is now part of Hillel International’s 1923 Society.

The 1923 Society is named in tribute to our movement’s founding a century ago.  For the first time ever, all planned gift donors will be honored and recognized – at the local and national level. Through thoughtful planning, our visionary stakeholders  - like you – can help ensure that Queens Hillel is able to meet ever changing needs now and from generation to generation, L’dor V’dor

Friends who make Legacy gifts will be recognized in our Annual Report, will receive a welcome package, and will be invited to special opportunities on campus and beyond. Want help navigating different planned giving options? Our team can help you think about bequests (leaving a gift in your will), by beneficiary designation in IRA or 401(k) or 403(b) retirement accounts, charitable gift annuities, life insurance policies with Hillel as the beneficiary, and many others.
