Claims Conference: Survivor Outreach Representative

In 2020, the Claims Conference distributed over $411 million in direct compensation and over $640 million in grants that provide support to over 130,000 Survivors worldwide. Our Research, Education, and Documentation (RED) funds contribute toward global efforts to educate the public and preserve the memory of the Holocaust through teacher training programs, exhibitions, and films such as Son of Saul, an Academy Award winner for Best Foreign Film. At the Claims Conference, we honor history while making history. The Claims Conference is looking to hire Survivor Outreach Representatives for a temporary outbound call program. The Outreach Representative will be responsible for making calls to Holocaust survivors and assisting them with their vaccine appointments with scheduling and transportation. Ideal candidates are mission-driven and organized self-starters who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Call Holocaust survivors to assisting them with their vaccine with scheduling and transportation; • Follow approved scripts on outbound calls;

• Log each outgoing call to a designated database, and record answers to specific questions;

• Provide general advice and guidance to survivors with locating connecting to local sources of assistance;

• Provide status updates and reports;

• Maintain and record internal and external information utilizing internal database and cloud computing technology;

• Meet organization goals for providing exceptional service to survivors and accept ownership for the survivors’ experience;

• Perform administrative responsibilities related to the above and to other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Customer service experience is a plus; • Bilingual in Russian;

• Knowledge of World War II and the Holocaust preferred;

• Genuine interest in the well-being of Holocaust Survivors;

• Ability to be self-directed, to work independently and remotely;

• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence;

• Detail oriented with a strong sense of ownership;

• Ability to multi-task while ensuring accuracy entering data;

• Ability to learn quickly and use customized software and applications.
