Program and Grants Manager
Summary:
A dynamic and innovative NYC-based foundation committed to strengthening and building the fields of Jewish education and identity, and building capacity in leading-edge Jewish non-profits, is seeking a resourceful self-starter to fill a Program and Grants Manager position.
This is a rare opportunity for a professional at the top of their game to join an elite team of non-profit professionals.
Three years of work experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Working with program directors on all elements of program development and execution,
including:
o Recruitment and cohort selection
o Collaborating on in-person, hybrid and online events and seminars
o Management of project timelines
o Updating website content, social media, email and in-person communications
- Managing program grants as well as several other recurring grants within the foundation,
including involvement in:
o Contracts, reports and payments
o Maintaining and analyzing data in the grant management software
- Research on new possible projects
Required Skills:
· Excellent project management skills
· Superior analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Knowledge and understanding of the Jewish community
· Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
· Proficiency with online learning tools (Zoom, Mural, Padlet, Flipgrid) and familiarity with WordPress
· Experience with or ability to learn grant management systems, familiarity with SmartSimple a plus

Foundation Program Associate
Summary:
An outstanding NYC-based foundation committed to the strengthening and building the fields of Jewish education, identity and cutting-edge Jewish non-profits, is seeking a skilled, energetic, Program Associate. This is a great job opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented person who seeks an introduction to the Jewish non-profit field.
As a Program Associate, you will report to, and support, the organization’s program officers in connection with program implementation and oversight. You will be a vital part of a team of professionals working collaboratively in a dynamic workspace and environment to actualize our core vision and mission.
Specific Job responsibilities:
Providing logistical, administrative, and research support, preparation of documents, data entry, grants management system maintenance, coordination of webinars and conferences, communicating with program participants and grantees, maintaining program timelines and calendars. You will need to multi-task in response to the fast-paced nature of the foundation’s work.
Required Skills:
· A college graduate, work experience is a plus
· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
· Proficiency in the use of technology including Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and online learning tools (Zoom, Mural, Padlet, Flipgrid)
· Experience with or ability to learn a grant management system
· Knowledge of the Jewish institutional landscape and/or event management experience is a plus
